At Grower’s Secret, we believe companies like individuals need to be environmentally and socially responsible. We aim to keep the environment top of mind and an equal player in our business decisions, along with all our stakeholders, including employees and community. Many organizations strive to make a difference in the world. We, too, strive to make our mark, and feel that the best way for Grower’s Secret to succeed in this endeavor is with the support of B Lab, the B Corp Community and the Certified B Corporation standards.
As a Certified B Corporation we meet higher standards of business, social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Similar to a LEED certification for buildings, B Lab certifies B Corporations based on comprehensive and transparent business, social and environmental performance standards, higher legal accountabilisty standards, and business constituency for public policies that support sustainable business.

Our Goals
Keeping the environment top of mind, Grower’s Secret aims to achieve the following goals as a Certified B Corp in the interest of our stakeholders, employees and community:
- Reduce the threat to humans by helping repair the NPK balance in our planet. Grower’s Secret’s material is believed to use more of the available nitrogen in the soil, allowing growers to use less nitrogen, with less runoff into our oceans.
- Encourage growers to take the first step towards organic growing practices by incorporating Grower’s Secret with traditional methods.
- Work together as a team to build retained earnings, which support more sustainable growing practices and benefit our employees and community outreach.
The Change We Seek
One of our goals is to help reduce the threat to the human species by helping repair the NPK balance in our oceans, we believe the material we have discovered will eventually be proven to utilize more of the availiable nitrogen in the soil, allowing growers to use less nitrogen.
Secondly, while we would suggest bio-dynamic and organic growing practices we understand that it may take years to reach a tipping point and therefore we feel elated in just being able to introduce our material to growers using traditional methods with the hope that we are part of their 1st step towards more sustainability. Third, we believe in working together as a team with transparency to support building retained earnings to fund these efforts, to benefit our employees and community, and to help build more sustainable growing practices.
